Matthew D. Anderton is an attorney and has lived in Genesee County for 8 years. He is married, has two children and one grandchild. He is a graduate of Michigan State University and Cooley Law School. Additionally, Mr. Anderton was an adjunct instructor at ITT in Swartz Creek for 7 years.
He began his law practice in 1992. His practice emphasizes estate planning and business planning. He has served hundreds of clients in completing their Estate Plans.
He is a committed member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Swartz Creek where he serves as a Trustee and Assistant Treasurer, and teaches adult bible classes. He was the youth director for 12 years at his prior church in Waterford. Additionally he coaches Upward Flag Football at Cornerstone for the last several years.
He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Flint Crisis Pregnancy Center.
He has been a member of the State Bar of Michigan since May 1992. Mr. Anderton is passionate about giving estate planning education through seminars and presentations at churches and other service minded organizations.
