Matthew D. Anderton is an attorney and has lived in Genesee County for 8 years. He is married, has two children and two grandchildren. He is a graduate of Michigan State University and Cooley Law School. Additionally, Mr. Anderton was an adjunct instructor at ITT in Swartz Creek for 7 years.
He began his law practice in 1992. His practice emphasizes estate planning and business planning. He has served hundreds of clients in completing their estate plans.
He is a committed member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Swartz Creek where he serves as a Trustee and Assistant Treasurer, and teaches adult bible classes. Additionally he is actively involved in the Upward program at Cornerstone.
He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Pregnancy Resource Center of Flint.
He has been a member of the State Bar of Michigan since May 1992. Mr. Anderton is passionate about giving estate planning education through seminars and presentations at churches and other service minded organizations.
